Find Out What's Inside

Leader in Me
Leader in Me is a whole-school approach to teaching leadership and life skills to students, based on Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It helps children see that everyone has the potential to be a leader—starting with themselves.
Through Leader in Me, students learn to:
Take responsibility for their actions (Habit 1: Be Proactive)
Set goals and make plans (Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind)
Prioritize what matters most (Habit 3: Put First Things First)
Look for win-win solutions (Habit 4: Think Win-Win)
Listen before speaking (Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood)
Work together as a team (Habit 6: Synergize)
Take care of themselves and others (Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw)
Leader in Me also helps schools build a positive culture, strengthen academics, and empower students to use their voices to make a difference.
As a parent, you’ll notice your child talking more about goals, responsibility, leadership roles, and ways to solve problems peacefully. We invite you to partner with us in using the 7 Habits at home to build strong leaders together.
